The first visit was satisfactory. The chips, mushy peas, and curry were good. However, the fish did not taste like typical chippy fish. I will give it another try and specifically request cod. If the same type of fish is served again, I will not return.

I ordered the value box with curry sauce during lunchtime mid-week. I had to wait for the chips, but that was okay until I tasted them. They were hard, even though they were large slices. The fish batter seemed like it had been sitting in the fryer, which was a shame because the fish itself was good, as were the sausage and curry sauce. The staff were polite. Please note that they have a minimum of £10 for card payments or you must have cash.

I popped in for roe and chips. Everything was cooked fresh. The batter on the roe was not great and not cooked all the way through. The chips were great.

There is a wide selection of food available, all freshly cooked while you wait. They have haloumi burgers, fries, and my personal favorite, battered chips. The restaurant is clean, with reasonable prices, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
